Was impressed with Atkin Marine from the minute we met them. Owner, Ed, very knowledgable, confident in the job, making us feel comfortable hiring Atkin to replace our 190 ft seawall. Everything went smoothly during the whole process. Excellent work crew showed up daily 8:00-5:00 like clock work and Saturdays until noon until job complete. Working crew very professional, kind, hard working, and enjoyed working together. Professional looking wearing Atkin teeshirts. Our one neighbor commented to me the crew was kind and courteous when she walked by with her dog. Owner, Ed, came by every few days to check on things, but supervisor always present and available if we had questions. After a few days of working, I didn’t even bother to be home as I wasn’t needed and didn’t have to babysit since crew competent. It’s was nice not having to worry about anything, all went as planned and exceeded our expectations. Thank you Ed and fabulous crew!

Ed’s team Eric and Dave just finished rebuilding and raising my dock 10 inches because the stringers were under water at high tides and had rotted. It was a complicated job because we wanted to save the relatively new composite dock boards. Everything had to line-up perfectly to reuse the old screw holes. They went above and beyond with a lot of little details like bevelling the new stringer ends for finished look and adding a dockwater shutoff valve that was not there originally. They even lowered my 92 year old neighbors bench so her feet could touch the ground when she sits on it (without charge!). They did a great job and it looks better than new. Would recommend Ed and his crew to anyone without hesitation!
